As artists and designers, we all have different processes that inform and inspire our creative output. But, when you pull back the layers - whether vector or acrylic - behind it all, stands the foundation for the piece, the grid.

The inspiration behind the identity for Grid aimed to encapsulate all different types of creatives, coming together to form a collaborative team or community. I created the logo using a non-traditional grid to create individual letterforms, which, when pulled apart, consist of a variety of different shapes. Some are curved, some are angular, but all of the shapes are vital for the letterforms to function, just like any successful creative collaboration.
